Travel & Hotels
San Antonio, Texas, is one of the most accessible cities in the United States. A convention town by heart, we have an international airport with daily flights to many points of the world, a variety of hotels and short-term rentals to meet any budget, and a bevy of restaurants to satisfy any appetite.
The goal of this page is to share information with you about our airport, accommodations, transportation, and eateries.
If you have any questions, be sure to contact us and ask.
San Antonio International Airport (SAT)
What if we told you the airport was 15 minutes from downtown?
Yes, you read that right – the San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is just a short drive from downtown San Antonio! When is the last time you went to an event and had to drive longer than your flight was to get to where you were going?
Not this time.
Hotels & Short-term Rentals
There are quite a few to choose from
The ISC24TX camp will be hosted on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word, the largest Private Catholic University in the state of Texas (and our very own Prof Clayton has taught there for over 20 years).
The campus is located at 4301 Broadway, just a few miles north of downtown. There are many hotels and short-term rentals in the area. While we don’t have any reserved blocks, here are some notable hotels to check out:
- Hilton Palacio del Rio on the San Antonio River Walk
- Menger Hotel
- The Crockett Hotel
- … and if money is no object, there is The Hotel Emma
There are also a number of very affordable short-term rentals, so check out AirBnB and Vrbo if you’d like to. Be sure to stick to these areas of town:
- Alamo Heights
- King Williams District
- Downtown San Antonio
- San Antonio Riverwalk
- Olmos Park
